Dr. (Mrs) Shilpa Satish Waghchoure working as Librarian at Gokhale Education Society’s College of Education and Research, Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India since October 2000. Pursued her M.Sc. (Zoology) and M.L.I.Sc. from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Qualified N.E.T. examination in Library and Information Science. Recipient of Two Gold Medals for securing highest marks in B.L.I.Sc. Pursued her Ph. D. entitled Design and Development of a Model of Digital Library for College of Education Libraries in Maharashtra.

Presented and published more than 50 research papers at various International and National Level Conferences and International and National Research Journals. 4 books at her credit. Research supervisor from JJTU Rajasthan and Tilak Maharashtra University, Pune. Organised UGC Sponsored National Conferences. Completed Minor Research Project sponsored by University of Mumbai in 2012-13 & 2015-16. UGC sponsored Minor Research Project 2012-14. Received UGC Travel Grants to present the research paper in Thailand in July 2013. Recipient of ICSSR-NRCT Bilateral Exchange Program 2014.
